Example

You buy books whose marked prices total $10.00. The books are automatically
50% off the marked price, so your cost is $5.00 without trading in any
books.

You trade in books whose cover prices total $20.00. We give you $5.00 (25%
of $20.00) in trade credit.

You can apply your trade credit to ½ of the money you owe. Since
you owe $5.00, you can use $2.50 in trade credit.

You pay $2.50 in cash and $2.50 in trade credit. You still have $2.50 in
trade credit remaining for future purchases.
Note: All purchases are subject to sales tax.

There are two exceptions to the above trade policy.

Science fiction titles are priced as marked without trade and are up to
50% off with trade.

Book marked with an asterisk (*) are always the full marked price.
Note: Please remember every sale has a cash component regardless
of your trade credit balance.
