This novel follows the life history of Katie Kishida, as she battles herself, her family, her country, and then finally, the laws of nature. Set in the near future, "TECH-HEAVEN" is a well-crafted thriller, that plots hi-tech vs. no tech in the arena of life extension and cryogenics.
As a main character Katie is awesome. She starts out as a wife and mother and progresses through the book to an almost super-human persona. The story line is highly believable, with political fanatics running loose all over, and simple ideas getting twisted and perverted into lies and violence.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, not only because it was so well written, but because it really made me think about what's happening in our political climate today and truly wonder what's in store for us in the future.
