of associational interest:

CERRA, GERDA ANN

Dean Koontz's wife, writing under her maiden name.

A DARKER HERITAGE (Lancer 75294 1973)
*Some sources say this is a joint venture of Mr. & Mrs. Koontz. The book is dedicated to Dean, that may have been a clue left behind, but none of the other pseudonyms ever did it. I believe it is a wife dedicating a book to her husband.

Gerda Koontz supposedly used the pseudonym, Gracie Amber, a romance author.

Other possible pseudonyms:

Ref: http://remus.rutgers.edu/~silk/koontz.html

Jake Foster, (maybe, could not confirm)
A western pseudonym also used by James M. Reasoner, Edward Joseph Gorman, and possibly Joe R. Lansdale*.

Joe Lansdale (is Joe R. Lansdale, not Dean Ray Koontz)
THE BLACK PUMPKIN Dec 1986
- An interview in Twilight Zone*

*NOTE: I have received a couple of emails from the Mojo Storyteller himself saying that http://remus.rutgers.edu/~silk/koontz.html or this web site's inferring that this is a pseudonym for Koontz, is not accurate. Joe Lansdale is Joe R. Lansdale without the "R". He also says he had nothing to do with The Black Pumpkin or the pseudonym "Jake Foster".
See Joe R. Lansdale's web site for further info.

Bill Munster
SNATCHERS Fall 1986
- An interview in Night Cry
