Bad Joke of the Year 1996:
Roger Ebert goes to a movie one afternoon and is astonished to see that the man sitting right in front of him has brought his German Shepherd to the flick. He can't believe his eyes because the dog seems to be following right along with the plot, he's growling at the bad guys, whining during the love scenes and wagging his tail at all the good parts.
After the film is over Roger approaches the man and his dog and says, "That was amazing, your dog really liked that movie," to which the man replied, "It is amazing, because he hated the book."
